You are viewing a low mileage, 1993 Porsche 3 liter inline four cylinder 236 hp two door coupe. The vehicle features a Guards Red exterior, along with a pristine condition black leather interior, the paint and vehicle are in top notch condition. The vehicle comes equipped with items such as four wheel disc brakes, six speed manual rear transaxle, air conditioning, alloy wheels (Kinesis Performance Wheels - 17" three piece alloy SuperCup with Porsche centers), power windows and mirrors, heated mirrors, fog lights, front seats electric height adjustable, AM/FM CD, intermittent wipers, power steering, power tilt/removable sunroof, rear window defrost, central locking with LED warning alarm system, rear wheel drive and intermittent wipers. Needless to say, this is a great color combination for this vehicle. If I had to sum this up, I would simply say that this 1993 Porsche 968 is in excellent shape and the exterior finish is in great condition. The interior is in superb condition as well. The vehicle has been garage kept and has never been abused. This Porsche has always been a non-smoking vehicle. The AC and all of the equipment works well. This vehicle has been owned by me since August 2004. It was purchased from the second owner in Winston Salem, North Carolina with 42,549 miles. The current mileage is low at only 44,924 miles. The vehicle has been maintained on a regular basis. The timing belt was changed at 43,480 miles in October 2006 and the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires have traveled less than 1,000 miles. This 968 was garage kept in South Carolina until July 2007. Since then, this Porsche has been garage kept in Michigan due to a job change. This is a rust free vehicle, since I have never driven it during the winter season. The reason that I am selling this Porsche is that I have too many cars, too much work and no time to drive. In response to some of the frequently asked questions, here are some answers that may help improve vehicle knowledge. 1) I am not planning on ending the auction early. I would like to see how things end up, letting it stay on eBay. 2) The cylinder in the rear compartment is a sub-woofer. This was installed with a Blaupunkt AM/FM CD player by the previous owner. 3) The Kinesis wheels are an appearance and performance improvement by the previous owner. I do not have the original wheels. The previous owner made the change and probably sold them at that time. 4) The clutch is fine, no work has been done, other than I had to replace the clutch slave cylinder and change the brake fluid. 5) When I replaced the timing belt, I also replaced the water pump, the balance shaft belt and the hydraulic timing belt tensioner. 6) The option codes on this Porsche are as follows: 331 AM/FM Cassette with 2 door speakers 454 Automatic Speed Control 650 Sunroof
