Vehicle Detail
Car 94 Talon TSI AWD w/ 6 Bolt No rust. Pretty Clean for a 17 year old car. Drivers front fender did not match when I picked up the car, Just had it painted, but its still a little off. Ideally, if you wanted everything perfect you would just have the car repainted. (Its a 17 year old car with some dings/scuffs/etc) But better shape than most of the DSM's you will see on the road. Entire underside of car covered in Por-15 and undercoated. Interior is pretty decent..Drivers seat bolster is a little worn, Passenger seat is nice except for 1 little cut. Rear seats look like new. Headliner isnt sagging, dash isnt peeling horribly.. Motor 6 Bolt with 71k Timing Belt / Water pump / Balance shaft belt, etc just done. All Turbo/Intercooler/etc parts new CX Racing 16G Turbo CX Racing Tubular Manifold CX Racing Front Mount CX Racing Radiator w/ 12" Slim Fan Silicone Radiator Hoses 3" Turbo Back Exhaust K&N Filter Xtreme MBC Apex SAFC (not doing anything) Autometer Boost/Vac Autometer (EGT) Disco Light Vac line delete Engine bay coated in Por-15 6 puck Clutch Lightweight Flywheel Suspension/brakes KYB GR2 Megan springs NEW front wheel bearings and seals NEW front lower control arms and ball joints NEW Tie Rod Ends NEW Sway Bar Links NEW Drilled/Slotted Rotors Front (new pads) New Rear Rotors / Pads NEW Rear L&R Calipers *Every suspension piece that is not new has been cleaned and covered in Por-15* Brand new Hankook Ventus Tires Lots of new misc stuff... Battery is new Rear hatch struts are new A/C has been removed this car was just finished and only has around 20 miles on it. It needs to be broken in fully. I dont really see a reason why you wouldnt be able to drive it home, but you will be doing it at your own risk. I would hate to see someone get stranded because they blew off an intercooler hose or something like that. Misc stuff about the car... Holds temp, doesn't overheat or anything like that. Boosts a solid 12lbs (set with MBC). It does die every now and then when you just let the revs drop in neutral (common). I think the BISS (idle) needs to be adjusted. The BOV is not vented to atmosphere, it is re-circulated. ABS light is on..not sure why Needs an alignment. I did it by eye after I had all the suspension apart and replaced everything. Its ok but needs to be done. 3rd gear has a little crunch. Better now that I filled the trans with Syncroshift.
