Vehicle Detail

I have a 1999 Porsche 911/996 with a 6 speed manual transmission and only 59,000 miles on it. It has a GT2 aero kit installed on it along with some custom 19" Antera wheels. This car gets noticed everywhere I go. It also has a navigation with backup camera installed in it. It has factory HID lights, sunroof, traction control, power seats and many more factory options. At 53k miles the car had over $6,000 worth of mechanical work at Herb Chambers Porsche in Boston. It included a new clutch, rear main seal (these cars are notorious for leaking oil) and the camshaft housing seal. Just recently I had the 60k service done so this car is ready to go out on the town. The car is always garaged and taken care of. There are no leaks at all. As far as defects go there are a few, this is a 12 year old car. There are a few rock chips on the hood that have been fixed with touch up paint, nothing major. There are some scrapes on the inside of the back wing where the factory spoiler rubbed when it came up because when the aero kit was installed they didnt disable the factory spoiler from rising at 75 mph, again not major you cant see it unless you look under it. On the rear hatch there is a spot where a buffer burned the clear coat, a body shop quoted $40 to fix it by wet sanding it the re buffing it. The front bumper has small spidering in it where it has been bumped (See picture, it is the last one). The air bag light is on because when the stereo was installed the seat was removed to run wires and when you unplug the wire harness it trips the air bag light, the dealership said it would be $105 to turn it off. All these things are very minor and the car overall is in excellent condition for its age. I just want to be upfront about any defects so you have no surprises. The big and common expenses with these cars are oil leaks and clutches and both of these issues have been addressed 6000 miles ago so mechanically the car is perfect. The car is sold as is with no warranties. Here is your chance to get an exotic car at a great price. Give me a call if you have any questions or would like to take a look at it, no joy rides if you don't have the money. I have the title in hand for an easy sale. Shipping or pickup of the car is the responsibility of the buyer. Thanks 208-301-4404
