Volkswagen certified vehicle!!!! The certification, which includes bumper to bumper coverage, expires in October 2011 (extendable). Your are looking at a 2005 built VW Phaeton in a very well maintained condition. I'm the second owner to this car and own it since Oct 2009. The vehicle was registred before in New Jersey, I bought it in Virginia from a VW dealership together with the certification. I'm German and keep my cars in impecable conditions, every bell and whistle on this car works, whatever needed to be replaced has been rdone by a VW dealership. Just in case you don't know, there has been a facelift between the 2004 and 2005 MY. The 2005 version has more equipment, wood paneling and a different grill, amoung other changes. The 2006 Phaeton is identical with the 2005 MY, except that it has less equipment. Things like the electrical supported door closing function has been eliminated from the 2006 MY. That's reason why I purchased a 2005 MY Phaeton. The car has far to many functions to describe them all here, but there are two mayor things worth to be mentioned: First it has the Technology package included, which stands for the power clsoing trunk lind and the electronic parking assistance. Second it includes as well the Comfort & Cold weather packagem, which stands for a 18 way driver/16 way pass. power front seats, heated steering wheel, heating, ventilation and massage function! on all four!! seats, power adjustable seat belts, a rear seat climate control display/unit, front and rear power adjustable head restraints. Both packages have been 6000 USD worth of options and not every Phaeton carries those options, please consider this when you do your comparisons. The car has just gotten the post-winter exterior/interior/engine clean up & polishing by Volkswagen. All scheduled maintenance, Fully loaded, Non-smoker, Power everything, Very clean
