Vehicle Detail
This is a 1972 Chevelle Malibu with a rebuilt 396 engine and a 4 speed manual transmission with Hurst Shifter. It has a twelve bolt rear differential, flow master dual exhaust, new interior, new dash and gauges, functional cowl induction hood, rebuilt front and rear end, Hotchkis stabilizer bar and lowering coil springs. All the AC components in the engine compartment are new and updated for R-134A refrigerant except for the POA valve, compressor, and evaporator. The POA valve is not functional and needs to be rebuilt. I am not sure if the compressor works. The car had a professional show car paint job done a few years ago, but since then has accumulated some scratches and dents. Most notably there is a big clear coat scratch on the driver's side front fender. The driver's side front fender also has two small scratches down to the primer under the SS emblem as well as some scuffing to the clear coat. The fender also has a deep scratch by the windshield where the hood had rubbed against it. The hood has three small dents where the hood was closed on a small pointed object. Two of the dents are by the front of the hood and one is by the cowl induction. The paint has cracked slightly above the dents. The passenger side fender has a small dent and scuffing under the SS emblem. There are minor scuffs around the car, but without any paint damage. The horn is not working. The horn works when supplied with power. The horn relay may be damaged. The car runs well but sometimes can be loud when shifting gears. I am not sure if the clutch needs adjustment or if the transmission is just "breaking in" since it was rebuilt as well. Thanks for looking!
