LOCAL PICKUP ONLY You are bidding on a 1990 Nissan 300zx N/A 3.0L V6 FI SOHC Hatchback 2 DR 104,XXX miles. JN1RZ24A5LX016642 More general information on the 300ZX http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_300ZX A little about the car. This car is currently and has been my daily driver for the past 1.5 years. It runs great and is in good condition mechanically. Aesthetically, it is ugly as sin. I bought this car from a gentleman on Craigslist and, at the time, had a body wrap. I took the body wrap off and what you see in the photos is what I saw when It came off. I bought this car intending to fix it up and restore it, but I never did get around to doing. The car is great and has 104,xxx thousand original miles on it. Everything is bone stock and has factory Nissan parts except for the wheels and the suspension (which is pretty stiff). I think the suspension is adjustable, but I can not say for sure since I never messed with it. I also do not know what kind of suspension it is either, I am only relaying what the guy I bought it from told me. I have no regrets about owning this car and I loved owning it. I am selling it because I am moving out of the country and will be gone for some time. The Pros: I have clean title in hand. Drives fine, runs fine. Suitable daily driver. The radiator, thermostat, and timing belt have all already been replaced. The vehicle has new tires and newish rims (rims are less than a year old I believe). Leather interior. Power driver seat adjusting, working power windows, working power mirror adjustment. Working am/fm radio with a CD player, stock Bose sound system. The CD player was put in before I bought it. It has never been in an accident or a wreck to my knowledge. It has had regular maintenance, oil changes, alignments, rotations, etc. I ran a vehicle history report on the vehicle before I bought it, It came back clean but I do not remember the details so it might be worth it to go ahead and run one of those. The Cons: Clearly it needs a paint job. The A/C went out just in time for summer. I took the vehicle to the mechanic recently and they said fixing the A/C would cost around $200. I am not a mechanic or even a car enthusiast but I know one of the common problems with these things is that the A/C will quit working and it is usually just a stuck valve or something. The vehicle needs a new rack & pinion according to the mechanic that looked at it. It also needs a new camber because the vehicle drives on the inside of the front tires, so the front tires will wear out in less than a year unless this is fixed. I think the fix for the camber and the rack & pinion was like $325 or so. Ask a mechanically inclined buddy or go get an estimate from a mechanic near you to be sure before bidding. The stick for shifting moves up and down in neutral. It shifts fine and the gears do not slip or anything but when the stick is in neutral you have to hold onto it because it will relax and sound like it is dragging the ground. It’s not, because I checked. It must be resting on some gears. Like I said, if you hold onto it while it is in neutral you will be fine. I do not know about the cost for this fix. There is Bondo on the side of the vehicle, but I do not know why it is there. That is, if it ran into something or if something hit it etc. It needs a new front bumper. The tint is really old on the car and is flaking, so it needs to come off. The passenger seat leans toward the driver seat a little bit. That should be pretty much it. Please please please let me know if you have any questions about anything here or if something does not make sense and I will be more than happy to answer any and all questions to the best of my knowledge or clear up any misunderstandings or confusion! Happy bidding! On Aug-15-11 at 08:37:38 PDT, seller added the following information: Great parts car! Everything is stock except shocks and wheels. Especially considering how difficult it is with to get factory parts from Japan right now with everything going on over there.
