Vehicle Detail
1950 Studebaker "Bullet Nose". This old car has been stored in a barn since 1966. I bought this old Stude used and drove it to high school and later to college and work. It got to smoking real bad and used lots of oil so I parked it with the intention of restoring it later. It has set and deteriorated , it looked really good when I parked it. My son wanted to work on it, he took out the seats and that was that. Interior is gone, no seat frames, side windows cracked but front and back windows are alright. I am selling it for parts or for a restoration project. It has a three speed overdrive transmission that was working when I parked it.. this is well worth the starting price just for the parts!! I am now looking for the title but right now am offering it with no title, selling for parts only. I will continue to look and also will see how hard it is to apply for a lost title. Last registered in 1966. Look at the photos and let me know if you have questions. Come look, bring a trailer and cash and take it home and get started on your dream car!! On Aug-11-11 at 10:15:36 PDT, seller added the following information: OK here is an update... This was manufactured in South Bend, Indianna. Serial number is G65685I . I have pulled the old Stude out of the barn and got a few more photos...I checked for rust and the fenders and underside of all panels are solid, no soft spots. I checked the inside floor poking it with a steel rod and it is all solid. The rust I found was on the floor of the trunk or boot area. Look at the photos. I have had several inquiries about shipping overseas and concern for the title, if I cannot find it this afternoon I will pick up paperwork and apply. They tell me the process takes about 2 weeks. As you can see this is a very low milage car!!! Only 91000 miles!! click any photo to enlarge
