I am selling a 1977 Ford F-150 Supercab Long Box 2-wheel drive pickup which is a very dependable. It has a 400 V8 Ford engine with a two barrel carburetor that has an automatic transmission. I have put a lot of time and money into this pickup. When I bought it two years ago I didn’t drive it the first year because I had to do work to the engine. The engine lost compression in the eighth cylinder. So I took the old motor out and put another good, used engine and gave the motor a fresh new paint job. I have put in all new gaskets and seals, a water pump, battery and cables, master cylinder, alternator, all new belts and hoses, and a new starter. Other things that I have replaced are the ty-rods and it has been realigned, it has new brakes and new front rotors and pads, the back U-joint and yolk have been replaced, the tires are 5 months old, and I have replaced the steering column which came out of a 1979 Ford pickup. After I have put all of that work into it I have never had a problem with it mechanically. The front bumper on the passenger side is bent out a little ways due to a minor fender bender and there is rust on the cab and in the box. I do have the tailgate that belongs to this pickup, but in order to put it back on there needs to be some metal work done. On the inside the door handles are a little ruff and the seat on the driver side is worn. For how old the pickup is, it is a very dependable pickup. The reason I want to sell it is so I can buy a nice, college car. I am asking $2250 or best offer. The buyer is responsible for shipping or pickup.
