Vehicle Detail

I am offering a rare 1964 Jaguar Mark X. It was garaged for almost 40 years. No signs of rust. It has the original operating, services, and parts manuals. It is not running and I am selling as it is. I bought it 6 months ago, but never had time to start the restoration. This car would be what professional car restorers call an "easy restoration". It has the original 3.8L engine with automatic transmission, making this a very rare version of the MK10 series. Buyer must pick up it or arrange shipping. There are some parts in the trunk that I think are transmission parts. Car will be sold with a bill of sale and must be paid in full within 7 days.Car is also advertised locally, seller reserves right to end auction early if sold. For more pictures, visit: http://s909.photobucket.com/albums/ac293/almirphotobucket/1964%20Jaguar%20Mark%20X%20-%20Mark%2010/ See a brief manufacturer's description below: The Jaguar Mark X was the top-of-the-range saloon car built by Jaguar, and was originally aimed at the United States market. The Mark X succeeded the Mark IX as the company's large saloon model. The modern Jaguar face, four headlamps set into rounded front fenders with a vane-style grill, first appeared on the Mark X. The interior is the last Jaguar with abundant standard woodwork, including the dashboard, escutcheons, window trim, a pair of large book matched fold out rear picnic tables, and a front seat pull-out picnic table stowed beneath the instrument cluster. The Mark X was the first Jaguar saloon to feature independent rear suspension. It used a wider-track version of Jaguar's IRS unit first seen on the E Type, which was subsequently used on Jaguar vehicles until XJ-S production ended in 1996. Front suspension used double wishbones with coil springs and telescopic dampers. Jaguar Mark X, Jaguar Mark 10, Jaguar Mk 10, Jaguar Mk X
