You are bidding on my 1987 Suzuki Samurai Special Edition. Lets Start with the Exterior of the vehicle! I have Herculined the entire outside of the vehicle! It looks awesome and is durable! I primed the entire exterior before applying the Herculiner, I did not do it to cover rust, I did it because it looks awesome and is functionable for a 4x4! I have added a beefed up front tube bumper from smittybilt, it is also herculined! New Diamond Plate rocker panels and Targa panels, look awesome against the gloss black herculiner. The wheels are 15x8 Chrome, sitting on BRAND NEW 31 x 10.50 Goodyear wrangler Authority tires (look like Toyos). I have put new lenses on all the turn signals, front and rear. It comes with a removable hard top that fits the rear of the Suzuki, and a brand new, never intstalled Best Top Bikini Top for the front! Oh yeah the Hard Top has been Herculined on the outside, and painted with a gloss black on the inside, Looks Awesome! I will include almost a gallon of Herculiner for later touch up, or if you want to continue herculining the trim, and inside the doors. New Driver Side mirror. Ok on to the enginge compartment! I removed the engine completely, and painted the engine compartment with a High Heat flat black paint, looks new! The engine was completely disassembled and no cracks were found in the block. The head was rebuilt recently, and I did an entire engine rebuild that includes the following: New Pistons and NewRings, New Water Pump, New Oil Pump, All new gaskets, New thermostat, New bearings, New Alternator. I installed a brand new Pacesetter Header! (painted it yellow but it is burning the paint off, turning brown / black eventually) Flushed the radiator, and replaced the cap and new upper hose. It had a Webber Carb when I bought it(I Took the carb apart and completely cleaned it out)! I have installed a new battery and new Battery cables. All of the rebuild parts were Japanese, not a cheap Korean rebuild! The Headlights are brand new! New fuel Filter, NewFuel Lines, drained the gas tank! This Engine sounds and runs better than a brand new engine! Under the vehicle: I drained all of the differential, transfer case and transmission fluids and replaced it! The transmission shifts as if it was brand new! Installed a brand new clutch!! The Lifts: I added new 3 inch Shackles, and beefed up the suspension with new Rough Country 2" add a leafs on all 4 corners, carry more weight! 4 Brand new Superlift Shocks were installed, ride is stiff! But awesome! The interior of the tub is also Herculined! I have added a new temp gauge that works flawlessly! New Seat Covers on the front. Under the seat covers the front seats are pretty worn out. In the bed of the Samurai I added a large heavy steel, lockable box that can hold all of your gear! I will also include a rear seat that is in Awesome condition for being 24 years old, with the mounting bracket, in case you want to take the steel box (which is also herculined) out! The door panels are brand new ABS plastic and hold up great, the exterior door handles are brand new, and the interior door grab handles are brand new! Shifter boots, 1 is brand new, other is original, both look great! All in all this has been a great prject to rebuild, and it operates awesome! Put your own finishing touces on it! On Jul-18-11 at 09:36:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 07/18/2011 - Took it for a test drive with a potential buyer...speedometer and RPM gauge not reading accurately, I ordered a new Speedometer cable and will have installed on Saturday before the auction closes, mechanic also says could be from installing the larger tires....anyway the Throttle Cable is also brand new, and it will also have a new speedometer cable now!On Jul-22-11 at 15:54:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 07/22 : Mechanic says speedometer cable is fine, might be speedomter, RPM's are fine also.
