For Sale: 1952 Ford F1, Flat Top Straight 6, 3-Speed Transmission First owner held the vehicle until 2008. The truck was one of two that were stored in a barn until that time. The Second owner bought both and did a frame off restoration on both. He ending up selling this one to me in 2009 to fund converting the other into a Hot Rod. Since purchasing I have completed the restoration with meticulous body preparation before finishing in the truck's paint code of Glen Mist Green. There is not one trace of rust on the vehicle with the under carriage finished in the 3M rubberized undercoating. This truck has been restored to be used and driven. It is a turn-key start, running, functional truck. Gauge clusters work, heater coil and blower box are all functional, fitted with an all new wiring harness. Brake Lights and Tail Light are all new. Bed is not the original Oak panels, but refinished prior to purchase in what seems to be pine, it is not warped or tarnished. Based on the condition of the truck upon purchase, do not be surprised if the 58,xxx are the actual number, original miles. This is equipped with the 3-Speed H-pattern transmission with the floor mounted shifter. Interior has been refinished with original seat cover replacement, and interior panel replacement. Everything is absolutely solid with the vehicle.Only selling to move onto the next project. A complete restoration would include addressing these exceptions to the truck: - A hairline crack approximately an inch in length on the head. Minor seeping of coolant occurs if run for extended periods of time from the crack. - Pigtail connectors for the Front headlights, and re-installation of on hand windshield wiper arms onto vacuum driven module - Purchasing 5th wheel as spare tire, for the under bed, pre-existing bracket. - Purchase of an original AM Radio
