Ladies and Gentlemen, We have here a 1957 Ford fairlane 500. It has been in this family since 1957. This is an excellent survivor original paint, original motor 63858 original miles. This would be the same equipment that robert michum would order in the movie Thunder Road.This is a true pioneer of all the muscle cars. This car is the beginning of the muscle cars era starting with 57 ford in the movie thunder road starring Robert Mitchum and ending in 1967 with the steve mcqueen movie bullitt and the 1967 mustang fastback. This is an icon and a collector of automobiles. Not only is this a collector but has a historical background in movies. All the chrome, headliner, paint, interior are all original except for the front and back seat . the orignal owner changed it from vinyl to cloth for confort back in the 60'st.
