Vehicle Detail

If you need to fix your existing Firebird, here is a great 1971 "parts car", there is NO TITLE. Originally from California and last registered there in 1988, it is now in AZ. I bought this car at a garage sale, of all places, and had planned to make it a dirt track car. These and Camaro's are popular for that. This is a rolling, steerable chassis without engine, trans or seats. It is a non-air condition model. The front clip on the car is great. It has a good rubber nose, no chunks or chips out of it, just some normal hairline checking in the paint. The original grills, one still has the original 350 emblem on it, and headlight buckets with chrome covers are there and in great shape, the plastic is not cracked. Left front fender has a small dent where it meets the rubber nose, NO RUST in front clip. The hood is good but the hinges are missing. Both doors are good, but the glass in each door is missing/broken. Trunk lid is good, rear bumper is not even dented. Original tail lights are still in the car but highly sun faded from sitting outside where I found it a few years ago. If you need solids floors, this has them, all original, even the trunk floor is solid. The rust I have found is in both quarter panels behind the rear tires where the water can settle. The rear glass is good, front glass cracked. Being a 71 it has factory power disk brakes, the power steering gear box, with power steering pump, are there, and all disk parts are there: rotors, calipers, brake lines, etc. Even if you did not need it for another Firebird, the disk brake set up with frame can be rolled out from under the car and used to convert your other old toys to a Pontiac disk set up. The reserve is set low as I am just looking to get back what I paid for it and clear space in my building. I hope this one brings your old Firebird back to life! Good Luck! On Jul-30-11 at 18:02:03 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: Prior bidder who retracted bid stated his reason was that "seller changed the ad". Not true, seller posted that car had "NO TITLE" in the original ad, from the beginning, which can be verified by Ebay. On Aug-01-11 at 10:28:05 PDT, seller added the following information: RUST UPDATE: There was a request for floors, trunk pan and rear quarter rust pics, just posted those. In order: Trunk pan OK, passenger rear qtr rust broken through, driver's rear qtr rust bubbles from behind, driver's floor: FOUND hole, fist size, up front after removing carpet and factory sound mat, driver's rear seat area OK, passenger front floor OK, passenger rear seat OK. Closely reinspected doors, passenger good, driver's has small rust bubbles starting front lower corner.
