This would be a very nice first car , school car, or small family car. It has an In-Dash DVD player and many new or updated mechanical parts. My son bought this Jeep used three years ago and has put about 100000 miles on it since then. Within the last year it has had new brake rotors and a new catalytic converter installed. Within the last three months we replaced the alternator, a/c compressor, radiator, water pump and installed new high energy spark plug wires and platinum spark plugs . It also has a Prestone Flush and Fill kit installed , which makes it much easier to flush the radiator . Goes in and out of 4WD smooth and easy. 4WD shifts as smooth as 2WD. Front drive display (Full time, Part time ...) and overhead fuel monitor work great. We replaced the original radio with a Pyle PLD3MU In-Dash DVD, CD, AM/FM stereo with a Front USB port for connecting an MP3 player, Ipod, or Iphone. It also has a connector for a rear backup camera if you wanted to install one. The interior is in excellant condition . Gray cloth with leatherette trim. Sits and rides like a dream. Large rear storage area with an adjustabel luggage rack on top. Now for the few warts : There is a hole burned in the drivers seat (done with a soldering iron when installing the DVD player - never smoked in). An uninsured driver changed lanes and hit the front left fender , denting the hood, fender and destroying the headlights ( this has all been replaced with identically painted fender from another 97 Grand Cherokee , and all new light fixtures and mounting connectors) - the Frame was not damaged and is straight and true. Also it does have 310000 miles on it so there are little blemishes, bumps and dings, but as you can see from the photos you could drive this anywhere and have a Cool older Jeep.
