Yes, 39,600 ORIGINAL miles. Here's the long and short of the car. Mechanically extremely good; rear bumper needs rechrome, and top / tires should be replaced. I bought the car from an old lady (no kidding) in 1985. It went through a comprehensive (chrome, suspension, body and paint, etc.) restoration and placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in three different shows form 87 through 94. The only non-OEM parts are the wide whitewall tires otherwise all is FoMoCo if it was available. Marriage, kids and un-marriage had the car sitting in storage. The kids are now a few years away from college. In the last four years, the following service has been done: new exhaust-header to tips, top hydraulic cylinders and pump replaced, routine oil changes, timing chain and gear set, carb rebuilt twice, fuel pump, transmission rebuild, brakes including power booster. Each fall the car was winterized. I would rate the car as a conservative 6, maybe 7. It is much more complete and road ready than a full rest project; but not flawless: scratches, dings, etc. If you look around you will see that there are similar 61-62 convertibles selling between $ 6500 (rough full resto projects) to over 35,ooo for concourse condition- very few with this low original mileage. I am not looking to be greedy, but recognize that life issues say it has to go. There are probably a dozen other services done to it that i can not remember and a few more to do, that I can't detail; but nothing major. The file jacket is about 2" thick. eMail with any questions.
