Vehicle Detail
This is rare Polar Silver color, with matching navy blue top and navy blue leather seats. The Polar Silver color is a silver with a bluish hue similar to polar ice. Tons of extras added on this 911 when it was ordered including custom leather and top color, chrome treatments on shifter, emergency brake, door handles, door sills, turbo wheels, etc. The color and wheel package was a $4,000 option. Clean title, no accidents. The 60,000 mile service has been done and there are new Pirelli tires on the rear. The top is in excellent condition, no rips, tears or stains. The interior leather is in very good condition with no rips or splits. This 911 was always stored in the garage and has been thoroughly maintained. It is a California car and has never seen snow or salt. It features a smooth 6 speed manual transmission that accelerates quickly. Enjoy the thrill of driving a 6-speed manual (the only way a Porsche should be)! I have driven the automatic version of this car and it was way less fun to drive. This was the second year of the reliable water cooled engine that was introduced in the 996 model. The 996 is the most reliable of all Porsches made, service is not expensive and the car can be driven everyday without worry of expensive service. When looking at other 911's remember that cabriolets are always more expensive than the coupes. This car was $87,000 when new. CARFAX report available upon request.
