Vehicle Detail
This 68 Mustang coupe, 289, auto trans, has had some work done to it by the previous owner. Engine has new water pump, heater core, radiator, new front bumper, new dual exhaust system, new rear tires.shade tree paint job. Some bondo, floor pans could be a plus, gas tank good, rear seat covers good shape, front seat covers very rough, transmissin needs rebuilt. Won't move. Engine runs great, though, starts great. Front end felt pretty solid when was able to drive before the transmission completely when out [C4}. Matching numbers. Some replacement door, window rubber seals and emblems stored inside trunk. Factory air conditioner compressor [not mounted]. Frame is solid, not rusted out like you see most, especially, the rear portion. Very solid. 14" wheels on front end and 15" wheels on rear end. All gages work, dash lights don't aluminate, head light [bright/dim] works, turn signals work, flashers works, wipers work, heater controls work, blower fan, rear red fender reflectors, front amber side fender lights missing, back up light i believe worked, license plate light works, has a 2 barl carb . Interior head cover needs replaced, has seat belts [front and rear]. The front cowl outside vent area, someone had completely sealed it over. Why? Don't know. Short cut maybe. no radio. This car is being sold as is condition. Once the deposit has be made, and all payments paid in full, sale is considered final. I am throwing in an extra auto transmission [C4] and a set of 4 original pony hub caps. This car was manufactured in Michigan and sold to a dealer in Arizona. Not sure when it arrived into Indiana. You put another 2500-3000 into this car and you will have a super collector car and show piece.
