Here you go! This is a Dodge 4 door Coronet MILITARY ambulance conversion done by the Memphian Co. Gotta love those Dodge '58 & '59 wings! And the push-button transmission! And that ferocious-looking front end! I was told there were only NINE conversions made that year! Who knows how many actually survive. Talk about rare! You may NEVER see another one! I've had this for less than a year, I really, really don't want to sell, but it just takes up too much space in the garage. This is a Total restoration project. It is not running and has not run for who knows how long. It will have to be towed to wherever it ends up. Several areas are rusted through, floorboards, front part of hood, door/door areas, etc. But overall in decent shape. Bondo on both rear side doors, other than that very straight. I removed most of the trim to start stripping the paint. You can see the original military grey paint in many areas. Most of the trim is there, just a few door pieces missing. This will look fantastic restored to original condition. Or it could be turned into a HEARSE! The only difference back then was the paint scheme and siren. Or it could be one of those "Rat Rods" Old stretcher and various misc. parts included. No Federal Siren, though. Don't let this one get away! You may NEVER see another one!! Odometer shows 16681.
