Welcome to our auction for this Beautiful 1986 Mustang 5.0 Notch! This is a 5.0 5 speed car with roll up windows. These 4 eye early 5.0's are getting very difficult to find in any condition, finding one in this condtion nearly impossible. This car is in very good condition and is a rust free car. This Mustang spent it's whole life in California until it came to us this year.
Check out the Autocheck score on this Amazing 5.0. It scores a 46 with the well above the average shown as 13 low and 37 high. It shows it is a one owner car.
This car runs and drives very well. It has been in storage since approximately 2001. It has not had an emission check since 2001, I am not in an emission area and do not have a current certificate for it. It runs clean and strong so I think it would pass with no problem.
This Mustang has very nice paint. It shows beautifully as you can see in the photos. The air conditioning blows cold. The original stereo is missing from the car. I did not put one in as they are personal choices and it can be done by the new owner. The underside of this mustang is very clean . I took many photos to show the condition. The original spare, jack tire iron and wheel locks are in the trunk. There is one small dent in the car on the drivers side just in front of the rear wheel well as shown in the photo. That is it, there are no other dents I could find in the car.
The tires are in good condition. 3 are Michelin one is not. This car runs good, drives good, has no rattles and squeaks, has a good clutch and shifts perfectly through all 5 gears. It starts on the first crank. It has flowmaster mufflers with new stainless tail pipes. This car is very original and does not appear to have been messed with.There does not appear to be any evidence of collission damage to this Mustang. There is no indication from the Autocheck that it has ever been wrecked.
Please feel free to ask any questions, come see the car or have it inspected. I think you will find this is a rare Mustang in amazing condition and is just waiting for a new owner. As far as things needing done, I think the driver and passenger windows should have new track rubber and outside dew wipes. That and the stereo are the only thing we are aware of this car needs.

A $500.00 non-refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the auctions conclusion. Final payment is due within 7 days of the auction’s conclusion. If we are not contacted within 24 hours after the end of the auction, Dipstick Motors reserves the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or do what it deems necessary with the vehicle. We reserve the right to end the listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. We do not accept full payment through Paypal.
It is the buyer’s obligation to fully inspect the vehicle before delivery. All out-of-state sales are AS IS, and no warranties of any kind are provided except any remaining OEM warranty. We have a range of warranty options available to you, and we would be happy to provide a free, no obligation quote.
We will accept certified bank checks and bank to bank wire transfer of funds (please calls us for routing and account numbers). We will also accept your credit union or bank auto financing check from any reputable institution. We do not accept full payment through Paypal.
The Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping of the vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped we will gladly assist you in making arrangements. If you live in Canada, your best option is to ship the vehicle to your closest DAS terminal in the US, and then drive or trailer it across the border yourself. Unless arrangements for storage of the vehicle are made in advance all vehicles will be picked up or shipped within 21 days. In the event the vehicle is not picked up within 21 days, a $25.00 per week storage feel will apply to cover the cost of inside secure storage. This fee will be paid prior to the release of the vehicle.
We reserve the right to end this listing if the vehicle is no longer available for sale. Please do not bid unless you are serious about owning this vehicle. All non-paying high bidders will be reported to eBay.

Winning bid does not include tax or registration fees. Buyer is responsible for all local state, county, and city tax fees, as well as title / registration fees. Out of state buyers will be responsible for above fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered.
Please have all of your permissions and finances in place prior to bidding. Any requests to cancel a transaction after the auction ends will require a $150.00 administrative fee. It is time consuming and costly to sell a vehicle. We understand that there are actual emergencies that do actually occur (an emergency is not failing to ask your wife or father for permission) and we will happily work with you if a true emergency exhists. Who we are?
Dipstick Motors is the brainchild of my wife and I. Why Dipstick Motors? Because we take buying and selling good quality used cars seriously but not too much so. It’s a little whimsical but so are we. We wanted something catchy. Most people are going to remember it. If it doesn't have a dipstick, we won't sell it.
We both have real eight to five jobs but buying and selling used cars has been a desire of mine as long as I can remember. It started with foxbody Mustangs but has grown to any good quality used car. My wife’s desire? To clean anything she can get her hands on. Hmmm..............I can see where this could work out well for me and for you.
We are both long time Oregon residents with ties to public service. We have lived in the Turner area just outside of the capitol of Salem Oregon for a substantial amount of time. We are honest and credible people. We have no desire to mislead or overcharge. Longtime car people say we won’t make it in the car selling business. It is our desire to prove them wrong. OK now for the real details about us. Me-John, I’m a long-time car afficionado who loves to have a different car every month. As this can become quite expensive my wife encouraged me to follow my dream of buying and selling car. I love fox body Mustangs and finding different collectible cars used for law enforcement purposes. I try to get the best cars that I can because I believe people are interested in low mile good used cars. I plan on retiring October of 2011 and will take my dream and passion full time.

I think this car gaining 106,000 miles in just over two years is not likely. However, in the interest of full disclosure I listed it at 168,678. I was told the car is a low mile car and it is my belief based on the condition of the car the mileage has not rolled over. Use your own common sense and bid accordingly. Thanks for looking.
