Up for sale is a rare 1978 Cadillac Seville Elegante with a 2 tone black silver paintjob. 133K original miles.True spoke rims with new Hankook tires. The car has been well maintained it's entire life. The car has had a recent tune up which includes a new radiator, new master cylinder and booster, and a new battery. The Seville drives very well without any hesitation. Unfortunately the car was egged a couple of years ago during a High School graduation and has stained the paint on a couple of spots. They are pictured below. The silver paint on the drive side is also cracking. The interior has a couple of sun burns and a few small tears, but is in good condition nonetheless. The plastic near the trunk has also come off. The dash has absolutely no cracks or scratches. AC works good and all the power features work well. Keep in mind this is a 33 year old car, so it won't be perfect but it is in good condition considering the age. History: 1978 Cadillac Seville Elegante Four-Door Sedan 350 cid V8 rated at 170 horsepower, Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, independent front coil springs, live rear axle with tube shock absorbers, front and rear disc brakes; wheelbase: 114.30-Other non-Seville Cadillac models had named luxury option packages so it was time for Seville-"Elegante" of 1978. This package added a unique black and silver two-tone exterior paint combination and perforated-style leather seats in light gray only. Real wire wheels were also standard as were a host of options. The lovely Seville Elegante offered today has all of the original paint, upholstery features, and came very well loaded with accessories from the factory to include a factory Eight Track player, power antenna, rear defog, factory CB radio, power windows, cruise control, and cut plush carpeting. Having traveled nearly 133K miles, the entire car, including chrome, still shows very nicely with just a little wear. Only 5,000 made in 1978 rims are True Spoke Classics.
