Vehicle Detail
383 ci, 2bbl engine. 3 speed automatic transmission with shifter on floor console. Same owner and garage kept for past 20 years. During this time I have personally driven the vehicle < 20,000 miles. Brake components were recently replaced (power booster, master cylinder, all wheel cylinders, all brake shoes, and mechanical hardware). Nearly new tires and new battery. Body is original, and in good condition for its age and has the typical rust bubbles in the rear quarter panels. As is, it would be a good reliable daily driver. Paint was new back in 1991, so it could use a new paint job and some minor body work to freshen up the outside. There is a minor dent in the roof over the passenger side which is not very noticeable to the casual observer. I have tried to take some good photos to show both the dent in the roof, and the various rust bubbles in the quarter panels. Inside trunk is in great shape. Inside interior is in fair to good shape, since most of the interior is original, with the exception of the new headliner and new carpet. Bucket seats were re-upholstered and are in nearly new condition. Although the vehicle can be driven fine in its current condition, the main issue that should be addressed is the exhaust system, which is leaking at the manifold gasket. Frame is solid throughout chassis. The worst rust area on the frame is located on the section below the very back trunk area (passenger side), but it is not compromised. Driver side front floor panel is thin, but not compromised (has not further deteriorated in the last six years). Six years ago I stripped the entire inside of the vehicle, and I covered the entire floor and trunk area with a protective rhino liner in order to prevent future rusting. additional photos on a FlickR account http://www.flickr.com/photos/65027004@N02/ ABSOLUTELY NO OVERSEAS BIDDERS or BIDDERS WITH 0 feedback - reserve the right to cancel any such bids , reserve the right to end auction early - car is listed locally for sale as well.
