Motorcycle re-listing due to SCAMMER - IF YOU HAVE "0" feedback, no Paypal account, and no cash in hand - Do not bid on this item. I will remove you from the bidding.Up for sale is USED 1989 Honda Pacific Coast 800. DMV registration is clear & current.I bought this motorcycle in May ’11, but did not riding it until now July. After finishing my motorcycle class, I bought another Honda, much smaller 250 c.c. because I felt Pacific Coast was little too heavy for me. Of course, my wife went crazy because she doesn’t agree about me riding a motorcycle, then we had a major argument when I bought the second motorcycle. I already spent too much of money, especially when I purchased the windshield & back truck for my smaller bike.My wife & I don’t talk much since she hates the idea of me riding the motorcycle …… Specially when I have two in my backyard. So, this 89 Honda Pacific Coast has to go.Here’s the rundown of PC800:I bought this bike from a guy in L.A. who purchased from a family who had this bike since 1989. The seller told me that this bike was mostly stored because the owner could not ride the motorcycle due to an illness. Then when he past-away, the daughter sold it. The previous owner cleaned the bike as much as possible and painted himself, so the paint job is not pretty. The speedometer is NOT working and stuck on 27,XXX miles. Since then, I probably put on approximately 50 miles just to keep the engine in good shape. I checked the speedometer cable & it seems alright, but probably the gear connected to front wheel & speedometer cable is not working properly. The back right side turn light cover is broken from the previous owner, but the light is working fine. Right MIRROR is cracked, I was standing on curb and leaned a little, but I couldn’t hold the weight of the motorcycle and dropped very slowly. Of course, I looked stupid in front of 4 people when I could not hold the weight of the motorcycle and my ego was hurt tremendously. Mirror & turn light housing is a POP-OUT, so I was able to quickly fix it, but the mirror need to be replaced – approximately $50 from Honda dealer. It appears there were two speakers, but no stereo housing of any kind. So I don’t know why there are speaker holes on left and right. This motorcycle has LOTS of POWER, but just not for me at this time so I’m selling it to keep my wife off my shoulder nagging on me every time she sees these two motorcycles in the backyard. I don’t know much about the motorcycle or the history of this motorcycle, other than what I’ve been told from the previous owner. Main reason for buying motorcycle was to reduce my gasoline bills since I have 3 SUV & 1 motorhome PLUS all the toys jet ski, jet boat and desert dune buggy. Just retired and I won’t be able to keep all the toys and fun anymore.PLEASE REFER TO PICTURES FOR DETAIL INFORMATION. I STRONGLY SUGGEST TO INSPECT THE MOTORCYCLE BEFORE BIDDING.Please E-Mail with any questions. This Pacific Coast is sold as is.$300.00 Deposit requires after 2 days of auction ending. Here's a video clip I uploaded to Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CB6OazJW_fM&feature=related On Jul-28-11 at 21:45:28 PDT, seller added the following information: *** NOTE *** I just parked it next to my other motorcycle when the kick stand didn't extend all the way down and I dropped to my other Honda. I couldn't support the weight and as it fell on top my other motorcycle, and the left side mirror cracked. I will drop $50 for buyer to be able to purchase a new mirror.
