Ok here we go! This is a 67 econoline shorty van that I have been using for a daily driver for about a month now. It has been dead on reliable and has never acted up or stranded me. [ on the other hand its not a $25,000 minivan either] It is a fun ratrod toy . I allways wanted one of these and when i ran across it I couldnt pass it up. but alas I am out of parking at my house. it is either this or my slammed vw bug.that has to go. I will probably put my bug up for sale in a day or two. look for it under other items for sale. either it or this will have to go, So let me tell you about this van . the motor is a 240 inline 6 it seems really solid and does not smoke. If this is the one I keep I am going to rebuild the carb. It also needs a new tailpipe and hanger. It has a ford 9in rear end with 4-11 gears [a little low for my taste] i think i would swap it out for a falcon rear just to make cruising better without laying rubber all the time. My brother pulled the gas tank off and cleaned it out. I cant put more than 5 gal. of gas in it without it leaking out cant be much just havent had the time to crawl under it and look[ok i am old and lazy] This Van is fun and easy to drive it does not wander all over the road as many of these did. I have had a lot of fun scribbling pictures all over this. i am not a great artist . I just enjoy horsing around.
