1973 Camaro with LT RS and Z28 Options I purchased this car with the intention of restoring it. But, have recently come to the conclusion that I have way too many projects on my hands - so a few things have to go. I purchased this car several years ago off Ebay from a person in the Baltimore area. It needs allot of work including frame rail work, rear quarters, minor floor work - in all, a complete restoration is required. The car is currently completely disassembled - so there is really nothing hidden here. The floor has a few areas in both the driver and passenger foot areas that need repair, the rear passenger area floors and trunk appear very solid. However, the wheelhouse areas around the spring perches need attention. Firewall, dash area and door pillars are solid on this car. Rockers and doors, as you can imagine need attention. The sheet metal shown in the pictures is included in the sale and is comprised of a mix of OEM and aftermarket parts. I have a few additional pieces that I will include as well. As per the body tag, the car is an original LT car with Z28 option. In addition, the car has all of the front end parts and components that would suggest it is an original RS car as well. The only way to prove that is with a build sheet which I don't have. However, all of the 73 only support brackets and there which suggests they are original to the car. The original 3:42 rear is there as well as the rear sway bar mounts and rubber bumper spacers on the lower suspension arms (forms parts of the F41 suspension found on the Z28). Interior includes the full LT complement with Sandalwood comfortweave seats, and deluxe door panels. Carpeting was chocolate brown, dash color is a greenish tone which made for an interesting (nice) combination of interior decor. I still have a sample of the floor carpet. I would also consider the dash on this car to be in good condition with a slight edge curl. Door panels are uncut and in very good condition but seats would need attention. Car is an original AC car - some AC parts are still with the car. I have a set of Z28 rims from a later model car which will be included as well. Sale does not include original engine or transmission - these items were not with the car when I purchased it. However, my intentions were to restore the car as stock as possible and after much looking I was able to acquire a numbers matching 73 Z28 engine and automatic transmission combo that I planned to install in the car. By numbers matching I mean the engine and transmission are numbers matching from a another 73 Z28 - not numbers matching to this car. I plan on selling these items separately but will offer them to the successful bidder first if interested. Car is available for local pick-up only and is being sold "as-is".
