The exterior is in great shape, the paint is nice and glossy and shows no signs of paint work, no major blemishes. This car is in great shape it has been well maintained and it clearly shows it. The rear door molding is the only thing missing overall the car is clean. The interior is in great shape, no major wear and it’s very clean, the seats, carpets, panels and dash are in great shape. 2.0L 4cyl it has 196k very well kept miles this car runs and drives as if it had a quarter of the miles this car has been well maintained and it clearly shows by the way it runs and drives. I have owned over a dozen golf’s and jettas with these 2.0L and some with as many as 300k and they really last with proper maintenance. 5-speed manual Trans shift all gears nice and smooth with no grinds or slips. Like new tires. No warning lights lid up. A/C needs to be charged or serviced. *driver’s side rear window & front passenger side regulator are bad (very common on these mk3 vws) i would feel comfortable driving this car on a long trip--it runs and drives great. If you are looking for an affordable 4cyl commuter car this is the car, it gets very good gas mileage and the car is very clean.
