Here is a '57 Chevy that was restored in the mid 80's The interior is still in good condition but it needs repainted. It looks good from 10 feet. The motor is a 1966 "327" with a 3 speed stick on the floor with a Hurst shifter. It is a later model trans that is syncrhronized in 1st gear. The car runs and drives good and is street worthy. I drove it home about thirty miles with no issues. However it does need TLC! The rust areas are as follows: drver side floor braces are good except the last one needs end repair. Drivers floor pan needs small patch. Needs two small patches on inner rocker. Pass side needs 2nd floor brace repair and end repair on last brace. Pass floor needs small spot repaired. Needs one patch on inner rocker. Needs rear body brace and last few inches of trunk floor repair. Needs repair on inner trunk walls at wheelwell area. The rear floors and trunk floor are good. Does have original quarters on both sides. This car is not a rust bucket and would be a good car to restore. The windshield has two stone chips. The rest of the glass is good and all the windows roll up and down good. The front bumper and stainless trim still have a nice shine. The taillites and rear bumper ends are nice but the center bumper piece is sorta dull. If you are looking for a '57 that you can drive now and fix as you go this may be the car for you. The reserve is reasonable!
