2006 Honda CRF

2006 Honda CRF450R AMA Pro Bike For sale is a 2006 CRF450R bike prepared and ridden by AMA Professional Motocrosser Chris Lykert. At the time I bought it in 2007, Chris was rotating a fleet of 4 bikes, all which were meticulously maintained. I bought this bike from Chris and have trail ridden it about 6 times total since. When I bought the bike, Chris put all the OEM factory plastic back on as well as the OEM new chain / sprockets, seat, and pipe (he ran a Yoshimura), and plastic so many of the parts were brand new at that time. Six months after I bought it, I moved from PA back to Michigan and it’s not been used other than one blast in the field behind my place to ensure that everything’s still fine. I’m 42 years old and have no time to ride and no one to ride with as everyone else has retired! Aftermarket Parts / Features: Revalved Suspension by Bob at FCR for 175-180 lb rider – it’s truly awesome. Works Performance radiator guards Wiseco forged clutch basket Front brake - twin piston caliper extension with larger pads. Modified wider foot pegs Michelin Starcross front & rear tires Renthal bars with new Renthal grips Twin Air filter Stainless steel rear brake line (OEM lines have a history of drawing air) Overall Condition of the bike is very good. The valves were lashed when I bought it. There are some scratches on the left front fender and side of the left rear fender from a spill I took. I replaced the LH side panel with new OEM Honda. Radiators are in great shape – no damage. Rear tire is probably 70% - not new but still good. Seat is like new. Pipe & silencer are like new. Levers are like new. Rims and spokes are fine, not bent, broken or twisted. It’s a great fast bike that’s ready to ride. I changed the oil & filter twice within the 10 hours that I’ve ridden it. It’s still fresh now. As both Pennsylvania and Michigan do not require titles for motocross bikes, the bike has never been titled. I have the OEM Honda certificate of origin, owner’s manual, and original sales receipt from Shenandoah Honda. All that will be passed on to the new owner. If you’re in the market for a CRF450R that’s set up, look no further. This bike’s suspension is nothing short of unbelievable. I would have sold it in the spring, but I’ve been working long stretches back and forth to China since fall until this week. I have other projects that need space and funding so it has to go. Reserve is set well below what the bike is worth, but will not be revealed. I have a set of Alpine star Tek-4 boots size 10 that are in good shape that are being auctioned separately.
