I am selling my 2010 VW GTI so that I can purchase a larger vehicle for a growing family. The vehicle is in practically brand new condition. Besides a few scuff marks on the front left wheel from a curb check, there is a tiny scratch on the plastic bumper underneath the rear license plate. It is not visible unless you are within an inch of the scratch, and are lifting up the license plate. This is the accident issue noted on the car report, caused by a "love tap" from a parked car that was pushed into mine during rush hour one morning. The police were called because of the true accident that occurred approximately 3 cars behind me, so of course my car was listed on the police report as being "involved." I have a copy of the police report available for inspection, and I also have an estimate for repair of the scratch, which is approximately $100 to "buff" it out. I also have the insurance check from the other motorists insurance company for the $100, which I will sign over to the buyer. Anyways, the car has been freshly serviced and fully inspected within the past few weeks. This car has never been to a body shop, and has had absolutely NO mechanical issues or any other issues at all. This car has been garaged at all times, and has been exclusively driving on highways and interstates locally in St. Louis, Missouri. In addition, ALL scheduled maintenence service work has been exclusively performed by VW certified technicians at the VW dealership that I bought the car from in St. Peters, Missouri. The car is Carbon-Steel Grey Metallic, and has the European plaid interior. The seats are very comfortable, and are heated. I am a non-smoker, and would NEVER allow anyone to smoke in my vehicle. I am the original owner, and I am a young professional, so you can be sure that the car has been well cared for and not driven carelessly. The car is turbo-charged, and it is extremely quick and fun to drive (the DSG automatic transmission is quite responsive and aggressive, even at higher speeds on an interstate). Some of the features of the car are as follows: Touch Screen Premium Sound System Option; Iphone/Ipod Hookup; Bluetooth Phone and Audio; Upgraded 18" Wheels option; dual power seats; Performance tires, Satellite radio. For what it's worth, I have always fueled the car with 93 octane premium gasoline, and the regular oil changes at the dealership were performed with VW recommended full synthetic oil (Mobile One I believe). Full amount is due within 7 days of the end of the auction. Payment can be a certified check/cashier's check (insured). Once the funds clear, I will contact VW financial services, pay off my loan balance, and proceed to transfer ownership to the buyer. From what VW Financial Services has told me, this is a simple process. If buying from out of State or local area, Buyer is responsible for arrangement and payment of shipping. Otherwise, vehicle can be picked up at current location in Saint Charles, MO. OTHER OPTION: if the buyer chooses, they can make a direct payment my current lienholder, VW Financial. I can provide all information to the buyer to accomplish this (probably overnight fex ex). Then, once vw financial receives payment and removes the lien, I will transfer ownership.
