Up for sale is my good running 1996 Ford Explorer 4WD 4 Door SUV. This SUV starts and runs good. The 4WD system is controlled on the dash and it works well - did not get stuck in last years blizzard. The Explorer has many options including power seat, windows, mirrors, cruise, CD changer, A/C, etc. and they all work as they should. I am the second owner and have all the service records from the original owner when I bought it. The brakes are newer and it has a new battery. This SUV was bought and driven by my son at college and will be good transportation for someone needing an inexpensive vehicle with a lot of life left. Last time I drove it, I noticed the power steering was a little stiff/jerky when fully stopped - it works fine when moving - this should probably be looked at but it can be driven with no problem - it may be from not being driven much lately (I drive around the block a couple times a week). The exterior drivers side has some dents/dings, the drivers sideview mirror is cracked and there is small areas with rust (see photos) but these do not affect the operation of anything. I am selling because my son has a newer car and I don't need it. This is not a beauty - the carpets and upholtery could use a good cleaning but are in overall good condition.
