This auction is for a red 1969 Jeep DJ6. I purchased this Jeep around 15 years ago. It was originally light blue. I painted it red. It runs good. The engine does not smoke, but does have a slight leak underneath. I put four mud grip tires on it around 500 miles ago. There is a crack in the windshield. There are paint chips on the body. The seats have seat covers but they need replaced. The original upholstery is torn and damaged, so it either needs reupholstered or you can keep the seat covers on or replace with new seat covers. There is only one rust spot next to the passenger door. I don't know how many miles are actually on it. The engine was replaced with a V-6 engine around 4,000 miles ago, so the odometer currently reads 4,612. The transmission was replaced at that time also. There is a bikini top. There are no doors. It is not 4 wheel drive. It's a very rare jeep that is about 2 feet longer than a CJ5. Lots of fun to own! Remember you are buying a jeep that is over 40 years old - really fun to own something so rare and classic, but that always comes with the repairs and maintenance you can expect on a jeep that age.
