Up for sale is my '56 Chevy 2 door sedan. It's relisted due to a buyer with no feedback that did the "buy it now" but didn't follow through. The two tone paint is "suede" style, and the paint and interior were done by the previous owner. Rear is a '71 Monte Carlo with 2.73 gears, open. Previous owner installed new glass (except rear window), and gas tank. I bought the car last year, and made many upgrades and fixes. I'm moving soon, so I need to sell it. The car has a 4 bolt main 350, "010" block, vintage 1974. What I've added since last year: Replaced the original Saginaw 4 speed with a fresh rebuilt one with Hurst shifter and custom ball; NEW aluminum hi-rise intake with NEW Edelbrock 1406 carb with electric choke; NEW fuel pump, starter, and alternator; NEW aluminum water pump, hoses, and belt; NEW aluminum radiator; NEW cam and lifters (327 - 350HP L79), push rods; NEW harmonic balancer, double row timing chain, gears, oil pan, timing cover; NEW HEI distributor with 8.5MM wires, new plugs; NEW custom GM valve covers; NEW door, trunk, and ignition locks, all keyed alike with ONE key; NEW hood and truck ornaments; NEW sill plates; NEW glove box; NEW leaf springs and u-joints; NEW exhaust front-to-back with turbo mufflers; NEW front bumper; NEW amber park light lenses. Other repairs: Replaced/repaired the horn mechanism and rewired; horns work perfectly; Headlights (HI/LO beam), park lights, turn, backup, dome, and license lights all now work; Tach works, as does aftermarket electric wipers. This is a decent driver with great curb appeal. Trunk and floor are solid, a couple of floor braces should be replaced. Rocker panel repairs done prior to my ownership. Original car mileage and engine mileage not known. I sell this as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied. The title is clear, and I'll release it when paid in full. Buyer is responsible for delivery.
