A wonderful 1988 Volvo 240 DL sedan with just under 79K miles on the odometer. The car originates from the Maryland area and is very clean and rust free. I have kept detailed maintenance records and have had the car professionally maintained by a Volvo mechanic. I'll be glad to refer potential buyers to my mechanic to have the vehicle inspected or one of your choice. Recent maintenance includes: timing belt and tensioner, PCV kit, plugs, wires, cap & rotor, air filter and air box thermostat. Also, the rear main seal, the torque converter seal and the tail-shaft bushing & seal have all been replaced. The vehicle does not leak any oil. The interior is cloth and is exceptionally clean. There is some slight wear on the drivers upper seat near the left lumbar support. The car has been owned by a non-smoker. The radio is an older aftermarket unit with a cassette player and 2 front door OEM Volvo speakers. The car has been professionally repainted in the original color. The front windshield and rubber trim are new as well. The repainting was due to fading on the hood, roof and trunk. The car has no history of accidents. The air conditioning system has been upgraded to the 134a refrigerant and blows at 60 degrees measured from the center vent. The car comes with a State of Maine inspection good until April 2012.
