Vehicle Detail

1966 Ford Fairlane GTA "S" code 390 GT engine, C6 auto trans, 9" rear This is a very complete, very original, and somewhat wounded survivor. This car is not irreparable by any means. It has rust in the typical Fairlane places, which means the damage will be cut out anyway if doing a complete restoration of the body with new panels. This car is a very smart buy for the restorer looking to gather up all the odds and ends pieces he/she needs to complete their project. Good: I have the car's actual title and it is clear. NOT A SALVAGE TITLE. Complete original drivetrain, including "S" code 390, C6 trans, 9" rear, and original carburetor and valve covers. Engine can be turned with a wrench. Very complete interior including console and plates, shifter, GT bucket seats, door panels, armrests, armrest wiring, Some unusual/rare items including a seat belt light, the rear mount antenna, trunk light, and the dash clock. Original ignition and door/trunk keys Excellent taillights/housings Solid cowl: interior cowl vents do not break off in your hands as with many of the 66/67s. Solid doors Solid inner front end metal (radiator support, strut arm mounts, shock towers, firewall, etc.) All original tinted glass. No cracks. Great to use for converting another car to a GT/GTA or for getting all those hard-to-find parts for your restoration project in one fell swoop. Look at those vintage McCreary G60s on deep dish chrome steelies! Car rolls well on four good tires. Bad/ugly: The twisted quarter panel/decklid and wrinkled fender are easily seen in the pictures Rusted fenders, torque boxes, quarters, rear subframe rails. Rusted trunk area/extensions and rear rollpan. GT hood missing Please feel free to send me a message with any and all questions. Winning bidder must pay full amount within 72 hours of auction end and before vehicle pick-up. I will accept PayPal, cashier's check, and/or "cash at pickup".
