You are bidding on a 1931 Model A Ford Closed Cab Wide Bed Pickup Truck The cab is the original, desirable 1931 steel top version. The bed is the 1931 wide bed version. The cowl is indented. The pickup has been in storage since 1975 and as you can see, is partially disassembled. All sheet metal has some surface rust. The cab is nice except for some cancer at the bottom of the back panel. The wide bed has two spots of cancer on the curved panels close to the front panel. Both front fenders are wheel well fenders. They both have a crack in the beading, and will need some work. There is only one rear fender (driver's side). The splash aprons are nice, but the commercial running boards need some repair. The floor panel, under the seat has a section cut out of it. It is 95% complete (the main things missing are seats, glass, and the passenger rear fender). The frame appears in good shape except that the rear crossmember has some brackets welded on it. The motor has been changed sometime in it's life, as the motor number starts with an 'AA'. There are five 19" wheels. It has a clear title, but has not been registered in years. I plan on bolting the cab and bed to the chassis and putting the loose sheet metal inside. I prefer local pickup, but will assist on this end, if buyer wants to arrange for his own transportation.
