Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 1987 Mazda RX7, which I purchased as a project car but I just haven't had the time for it. This car is very very original with only 115k miles and 2 previous owners before me. Last owner was a mature female, who kept the car well maintained. Car starts and runs fine, has a fresh VA safety inspection AND VA emissions inspection. The car is 25 years old, so it will no longer need emissions in the state of Virginia in the future (makes life easier, especially for someone looking to turn it into a tuner). When I purchased the car I replaced the fuel tank, fuel pump w/ pickup sock, and fuel filter. It is an automatic, and shifts smoothly through all gears. Everything inside is in good conditions, with all switches and knobs working and in tact. The body has a couple small chips and dings, and some bubbling under the paint at the bottom of the left front fender, but nothing serious. The right power window sticks, as does the power moon roof. The car has been sitting for awhile, but all in all, the car looks and runs great. It even has the original owners manual and license plate screws in the glove box. I am a Mazda Master Technician and planned on restoring this car to its original shine, simply because it is very original. The air pump, air conditioning, power steering, and original air box are still all there. As a guy who looks at dozens of these things on a regular basis, I can tell you that they are hard to find in such condition. This car hasn't been tampered with or tuned which made it a perfect restoration project in my eyes, but could easily be used as an every day car or as a tuner-build up base. Right now, I'm just looking to get it off my hands, recoup what I have put into it, and sell this classic to an owner who can appreciate it. Shipping - Local pickup is always available. Buyer must pay for any shipping and make all arraingements. I will not be communicating with or finding shippers. If you would like to have the vehicle shipped to you, the shippers must come pick the car up. The car does currently runs and drives, but currently has no tags.
