1977 Chevy Corvette CLASSIC Silver Bullet! Recently restored. Starts, runs and drives fine. Lots of power, many new parts. Here is a classic beauty that I get compliments wherever I go. Even for a 77 model, it blends right in to the year 2011. That's what I love about these Corvettes, they are timeless! V8 350 Chevy small block engine was taken out and was overhauled. Carb was adjusted as well as timing re-set, oil changed/filter too, spark plugs, and vacuum lines repaired. Also; some upper arm bushings were replaced and the driver side bearings. Power steering was redone as well as the rack and pinion and new brake master cylinder. And a new battery. Engine compartment was power washed and detailed. No overheating problems. BODY: straight fiberglass body with recent Original Met. Silver paint (including the doors and door jambs), all emblems were re-enameled and looks like new. All lights work and lenses/glass are in great shape. comes with a rear chrome luggage rack that hinges up. Original Rally wheels with new aftermarket center caps. NO RUST ON THIS CAR. Headlights flip up and down nice with some new components. INTERIOR:New carpet throughout, driver's seat re-upholstered all interior panels were taken out and re-dyed in original color, rear compartment frame is new.Also the gears for the power windows are new, windows and lock mechanisms all oiled and working great. original keys and locks work well. Tilt telescoping wheel. Has an older cassette stereo and some tiny speakers mounted above seats. FLAWS: Pas. seat has a seam rip on the upper corner (see pic); dash has cracks only at the speaker grilles and grilles are cracked as well; doors had cracks that were filled in and painted (but still noticeable); doors don't have the lower carpet on them (I had them made, but they were the wrong color , so I left them off); the front and rear carpet are a shade different; the rear compartment doors do not have the trim around ea. door. (they open and close fine); rear window mounding has 2 cracks (the usual); turn signal is not in photos, but I have it and will instal it; ac unit is not working; pas. side sunvisor is broken on inside (typical); seat belts are a little dirty in places; body has some flaws in the paint, mostly on the rear bumper part, and around the license plate; luggage rack has some surface rust/pitting at the joint areas (can be taken off with steel wool). Engine has the valve tapping noise.Clean title and current CA registration through 2012. Passed CA smog back in Feb. Comes with spare, original tools/jack, and owner's manual. A great vette that will continue to increase in value. This is not a show car, but a very nice restored driver. I know blue book has these ranging in the lower $20,000. I also drive a 77 Black 4-speed which I enjoy tremendously.
