Vehicle Detail

I just realized this doesn't show up in the normal spots so adding this listing. The actual auction is number 260815581030 Put that number in the search box to find the actual auction. I searched for my own vehicle and couldn't find it!!! Ebay auction number 260815581030 Trying this one more time. If this was just an old 1966 Dodge A100 van in this condition it would be worth more that $1350.00 but it is a camp mobile, there were over 1500 views and over 60 "watchers". How many have bought a vehicle with new paint just to find out the paint is hiding rust and damage? You are sure of what you are getting with this van. I am open to selling, trades or I will just keep this cool old Dodge. Original Camp Mobile sporting factory paint and interior! Yes it needs repainted and reupholstered BUT you can see there is no body damage, NO rust through and its factory original. It does have surface rust on the roof as it gets very hot here in the central valley of CA and it burns the paint off the top but it is only surface rust. This Camper is solid as a rock and runs like a champ. Look at the pictures closely and see how straight the body panels are on this van. It has a few small dents and dings but not very many especially for something 45 years old and un-restored. It is a V8 (318) and supposedly was replaced around 10,000 miles ago and the engine sounds like this is true. The transmission shifts as it should and believe it or not, this thing is quiet going down the road! It drives, rides and stops great. It hasn't been licensed since 1992 or somewhere around there according to the license plates and I do have the title. All the poles are there to make this into a 5 person sleeping capacity. Of course the canvas needs replaced since its 45 years old! I tried to show all the sleeping arraignments in the pictures. The table makes into a 2 person bed, there is a bunk just above the 2 person bed, a bunk up in the pop top and then a bunk sideways across the front drivers/passenger seats. The factory brochure does not even show the bunk above the 2 person bed but this does have it!!! One of the ends has a circular metal bar that drops down into slots in the bulkhead beside the stove on one side and drops down into a slot beside the sink and the other end fits into slots on the rear seat back. It has a 110 volt hookup just behind the drivers door, a fridge, the factory propane cook stoves and the sink. The speedometer shows 34,869 but I am pretty sure it has 134,869 on it. Please ask questions BEFORE bidding. I have a 100% rating and always answer question honestly and openly. I bought this planning on restoring it but plans have changed and it should go, it doesn't have to go but I don't like to see it just sitting there. I have had a lot of classic cars over the years and this is one of the straightest, strongest, most original vehicles I have seen. The last one I saw on Ebay sold for $6500. It did have new paint but it sold early locally(CA) and it was pulled off Ebay before anyone had a chance to buy it unless you were the local buyer. I put a buy it now price in case you want to avoid missing it like the other Camp Mobile since this is for sale locally also. I will help load this on a trailer, help get it ready to drive and storage is not a problem as long as its paid for. On Jul-10-11 at 07:34:26 PDT, seller added the following information: On Jul-12-11 at 07:41:52 PDT, seller added the following information: Someone asked me how the top raises, if its all aluminum and how are the windows. The top appears to be all aluminum, yes the windows are all good and here is how the top raises. The top piece lays flat what the top is down. You push up on the top piece and it flexes on the back end and the front has two pieces that accordion into place. While holding the top up the two side pieces tilt up into place and there are latches to keep them there. It is a VERY simple operation and easily done by one person. Its all a manual operation with no motors or switches to wear out! I can take more detailed pictures if needed. On Jul-14-11 at 17:57:33 PDT, seller added the following information: I have been calling this a Camp Mobile and it actually is a "CampWagon"!!! It has factory chrome emblems on each side saying CampWagon. I will attach a picture of the emblems, the front of the brochure and the back. If you look at the factory brochure it states " Sold and serviced exclusively by Franchised Dodge Dealers". The van has a 110 volt hookup and a hose hookup on the drivers side just behind the door. On Jul-15-11 at 06:47:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Okay this auction reached the reserve so I canceled the other auction. The pictures went away with the other ad so I am adding them plus a few more to this auction. Please ask any questions before bidding.
