You are bidding on a 1989 Honda XR600R with many motor modification. This bike has been in my family since 1991, and we are the second owners of it. The motor modifications are: -100 mm Wiseco Piston (630cc), Compression 11:1 -White Brothers Cam Shaft -R/D Valve Spring Kit -Cometic Head and Base Gasket, all other gaskets are OEM Honda -Ported Head, with 3 angle valve job. Head has also been milled 0.030". The top-end was completely rebuilt, with new valves, rocker arms, sub-rocker arms, and shafts. The timing chain was replaced with an OEM Honda timing chain. The clutch pack was rebuilt with Barnett Fiber and Metal Plates. This bike has been garage kept or in a workshop, since we got it in 1991. The last time anyone from my family rode this bike was in 2005. After pulling it out of workshop, I drained the all of engine oil and replaced it with Mobil 1 synethic 20w50 motorcycle oil. I have also rebuilt the carburetor, done complete maintainence, and replaced the rear tire (the front tire is very good condition.) This auction is a NO RESERVE Auction. There are several carriers for motorcycle that are eBay approved. 07-14-2011 I had some question already come by, and I think I should address these. 1) With the higher compression, can the engine run on pump gas? I currently have the carburetor adjusted for pump gas and octane booster, but if you can get your hands on 100-105 octane, this beast will come alive. 2) What condition are the fork seals and brakes in? When I had the top-end rebuilt, I also had the forks rebuilt with new bushings and seals. The brakes were also replaced at the same time. When I replaced the rear tire, the rear brake had plenty of material on the shoes.
