Bought in late 04 from Georgia Cycle Depot with totally rebuilt motor. I've ridden maybe 5k miles . Many many upgrades and reliability improvements since purchasing. Electronic [Boyer/ Podtronics] ignition makes for easy first or 2nd kick starting with no kickback. Rebuilt clutch, front forks, swingarm, new battery and much more. Frame numbers match motor serial numbers. Great handling, strong running motor, sounds incredible... not too loud but not wimpy either. Fun ride. Very old or original paint. One very small dent in tank [see photos]. This is a “rider” grade bike. Some surface rust on blued pipes, scratches and small dings in aluminum parts, paint, etc. As do most old Brit bikes, this one drips some oil especially after a hot ride. Not un-manageable but don't park on your friend's brand new white driveway. This bike didn’t have speedo or tach when I bought it and I got used to riding without and never replaced them. Affordable dependable correct looking repros are now available and are much more accurate and reliable than rebuilt cantankerous Smith’s gauges. This would be a good candidate for a real restoration, but I don’t have the time to do it. All original purchase paperwork.
