1989 Toyota land cruiser fj60100% Original ! ~188,032 miles, a daily driver. An Unmolested Survivor…. The interior in this FJ62 is the cleanest I have ever seen personally, (a bit of dog hair that the vacuum didn’t get) the front door’s map pockets are still intact, the dash is crack free (never seen one perfect before).Auto w/ overdrive, all the gauges work, original radio. Seats all recline and fold, the headrests and the seat belts are all there. Headliner is intact and pretty clean, Power windows all work well, the electric mirrors work. It has great heat the blower motor spins smooth (no squeaks). The heat is really great, heater core unobstructed. has the optional roof rackI got this car from the Original owner’s family; they had just replaced the radiator, then a brake line went and they decided to let it go. I have had a number of FJ60’s I wanted to make this one my new toy, and fully restore it, then I just found out I am going to be a grandfather, so I sadly must let it go, I bought it from the family’s mechanic, who told me the original owner was meticulous about oil changes and maintenance. All the fluids were topped off and look clean.The Factory A/C has been disconnected.( the condenser has been removed / compressor has no belt). The center console insert is missing, but the housing ‘s exterior is intact. missing passenger mirror glass.The frame is solid, the however there is some rust (see the pictures,) and it looks as if the body has never ever been repaired. paint is original and looks good. The plastic front bumper corners are missing, the rear ones are there.The rear hatch does not lock and the trim strip over the lock mechanism of the rear hatch has been removed and is missing. The Glove Box is locked, the key is broken off in the lock. The jack and lug wrench are missing, the spare tire is there.The wiring appears to be all intact, all the lights work. The power antenna extends and retracts, but at base the telescope antenna is broken.The tires are marginal, brakes stop good, Emergency brake works. The windshield is cracked, (does not obstruct drivers vision). The exhaust has been patched, the Catalytic Converter does not get too hot, seems O.K.I drove the car on the highway non-stop for over two hours; It drives smooth until you reach 65 then it has a vibration between 65mph and 75mph, and smooths out above 75mph (likely the tires) . The engine stays cool in stop and go traffic on an 85 degree day and the transmission shifts smooth.The car is available to view in Providence, Rhode Island, just let me know and I could ,meet you for a test drive.All in all, there is a lot of low mileage / mechanically sound land cruiser here, I wish I did not need the money and that I could keep it.I am sure you could come to Providence, get a set of transfer plates and drive this car to California.I am willing to meet a shipper to have the car transported, or I would (for a reasonable fee) drive the car to the port of Boston / New York to have it shipped overseas.$250 deposit within 24 hours of auction ending and remainder within one week of the end of the auction.
