This is a no reserve auction our loss is your gain. Starting bid $4000.00 less then I paid for it. I bought this truck for my husband on 1-14-11 for $10,000.00 on ebay, for him to restore. We have now sold the farm and shop, so no place to work on this project. When the truck arrived it had a broken head bolt. When we had the head off to fix the head bolt, we determined that the engine had recently been rebuilt as stated in the ad from previous owner. Truck has been stored in our shop and started weekly. $1000.00 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction end via paypal. Full payment due within 7 days of auction end via certified funds. Buyer responsible for vehicle pickup and transport. Here is a copy of previous ebay ad: 1948 Dodge Power Wagon. New tires installed in 2006 with 30 miles on them. Absolutely no rust through on cab has been detected, original paint with surface rust patina. This truck has one of the nicest original cab floors I have seen. Truck has had the engine completely rebuilt including pistons, valves, guides, bearings, crank regrind, everthing to make this engine as new. A rebuilt clutch and throw out bearing assembly was installed. New clutch pedal pin and bushing. All brake components replaced or rebuilt as needed. New seals and bushings in outer ends just replaced and new lockout hubs. Starter and generator were recently rebuilt. New battery. New gray reupholstered original seat and new door and headliner upholstery. Excellent wiring harness. Original M U 2 PTO winch with new cable. All cab glass in excellent condition. Windshield has new glass and rubber seal. Doors open and close correctly and crisp. All glass guides replaced and door windows work like new. New water pump and fuel pump. New original style muffler. Windshield crank works well. Glove box is there and usable. Radiator and gas tank boiled recently. Also included is the heater box which was not installed in truck (see picture). Truck was last driven a few months ago and has been started every month.
