This beautiful 1976 TR6 has only 17,876 miles. I purchased this car from the original owner who had it stored here in Maine in a heated garage. When I took the car it had not been driven in over fifteen years. Originally purchased new on July 16, 1976 from Pray Automobile Corporation in Greenwich Connecticut. I do have the original dealer delivery folder along with a mint sales brochure that looks brand new. This is a very late production car and one of the very last TR6's produced. It was given a complete proper repaint about seventeen years ago and was repainted the original Pimento Red. The interior is totally original and the seats are in excellent condition with no rips or tears but they could use new foams. I replaced the original top with the correct top which has the reflective strip and the zip-out rear window. I also replaced the original redlines with a new set of Coker Classic Redlines. When I first had the car taken to an English repair shop in Kennebunk Maine there was a problem with the motor. Long story short I had the motor totally rebuilt for $6500. I also had a new clutch, all brakes, clutch hydraulics, rebuilt carbs, and numerous other items repaired and /or replaced at that time. I have put 1876 miles on the new motor since April and it runs like new. I do have receipts that total over $9000 for these recent repairs. This is a totally rusfree car that drives as good as it looks. I would not hesitate to jump in this car and drive it cross coontry. The spare tires in included along with the driver's handbook, jack, and tool kit. The VIN# CF54753 U. The speedometer was replaced and the odometer is showing 1876 miles which is the mileage on the new motor. I do have the original speedometer which has exactly 15,979 miles.
