1982 Chevy C-10 Pickup Truck. 6.2L Diesel. Dual tanks. Drivers side tank just replaced this spring. This truck shows 20K miles on odometer but I can assure you that it is at least 120K miles. Motor runs ok. I bought this truck to restore as I am a fan of the old school diesels. The 6.2L in this truck is a Detroit Diesel motor also used in the original military Humvees. THIS IS NOT one of the GM gas converted to diesel blocks! The motor is old school with no electronic controls. She fires up every time. Tranny (4 Speed) could probably use a rebuild. Started slipping so I added some tranny fix in a can. Truck drives well. There is some rust and some rust through on cab floor and front fenders. Dash is shot, many cracks and seats pretty beat up. Used this truck to run to town, about a 20 mile round trip once or twice a month. If you are looking to get into diesel world on the ground floor this could be your ticket.
