Vehicle Detail
This is an extremely nice and clean 1984 Honda Aspencade Gold Wing (GL 1200A) It is the dark brown color. The bike features a liquid cooled flat four engine with hydraulic valve adjusters, 5 speed overdrive transmission, shaft drive, and being the Aspencade, AM/FM Cassette Stereo, Front and Rear Air Suspension with On Board Air Compressor, and LCD digital dash. This bike is also equipped with the intercom system. (you will need to supply your own head sets) This is an exceptionally nice bike there are no scratches or flaws to describe. It runs perfect, leaks no oil or fluids, is ready to ride, and everything on the bike works as it should including all gauges, lights, etc (The pickiest of person might find a minor scuff of some nature or something to complain about but you will be looking a long time to find a nicer original GL) The bike even still has and includes the bags that line the trunk and saddle bags, tool kit, air gauge, owners manual, and hose that can be connected to the output from the compressor to fill a tire, etc. The only issues I can report on this bike are 1) the right hand fairing trim is of dark primer color but to be honest you don't even notice that it is not color matched. easy to paint or just replace with the right color from the numerous pieces easily found right here on e-bay. 2) the rear tire is nearing time for replacement but does have some life left in it. The only other thing I can mention is that the bike will sometimes smoke on start up. (this is normal and common for all GLs of this era, there is nothing wrong with the engine, it is just caused by oil running down the cylinder walls and past the rings when parked most commonly on the side stand) I only mention this as should someone not be familiar with these bikes buy it and think I didn't disclose something. The stator has been replaced on this bike about a year ago. I have described the bike as best I can and the pictures show what this bike is but if you have any questions please send me an e-mail.
