2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LS Quadrasteer with just over 54,000 original miles. I purchased this truck to keep but Ive decided to sell it to help pay for the restoration of my 1967 Mustang. Below I will include features and details of the truck, good and bad. I am trying to include every detail so there are no suprises when the purchase is made. This is a steal when a regular cab truck with about the same miles goes for 13k. Reserve about half of book value. Exterior and Body The body of the truck is in very good condition and shows no rust. The frame has some rust as seen in pictures but the body has none. Below the passenger side door there are two small dings indented about 1/8 inch and around 1/2 in diameter, these are barely noticeable. Above both wheels wells on the rear tires there is damage from when the previous owner scraped the truck using oversize tires. I've included pictures in detail of this but overall this is not an expensive fix. All lights, blinkers, brake lights work fine. Bed has scratches but no dents and is 6 1/2 feet. Paint is good and truck shines up well and looks great. Interior The interior is also in good shape, no tears or cracks anywhere. There are some cigarette burns in the seats but nothing major. The backseat is fine but the cloth isnt in perfect shape as it must have been used to haul something as the cloth is creased in a few spots. All power equipment works with the exception of the passenger side window. Truck does include owners manual and has keyless entry but did not come with adapter for it. There are two sets of keys that come with the truck. Engine This 5.3 V8 Vortec runs and sounds good and has an aftermarket dual exhaust. Also has a brand new K&N air filter with a lifetime warrenty. The transmission is brand new and includes a 1 yr. 12,000 mile warranty. I have all receipts for transmission work. Also recently passed the Ohio e-check which is good thru October. All belts, hoses, spark plugs, etc work fine. Possible coolant leak or overflow from A/C, not oil or anything major. A/C blows ice cold air. Oil change within the last 100 miles. Tires, wheels and brakes Wheels are off a 2000 Silverado and look brand new. No pitting or scratching. Brakes are not the best and may need to be replaced within the next year. Tires are okay as I just had them rotated. Driveability and MPG Quadrasteer works perfect and is ideal for towing around an RV or cars. Pulls very easily up grades. Runs fairly smooth at highway speeds and drives well in the city. Im getting around 17 mpg now driving mostly city. Cargo weight rating is 714. Dimensions are A 210 cm or 79 in and B 0 cm and 0 in. Trailer weight carrying is 5000 lbs and weight distributing is 12000. Maximum tongue weight is 600 and 1500 lbs. Truck comes as-is with no warranty.
