This is a Genuine GTA! It is a Third Generation F-body 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Rare Digital Dash Speedometer MPH, RPM, Oil Pressure, Coolant Pressure, Fuel, Electrical all in a Original Pontiac Digital Display. There is a convenience center that will tell you if lights that are not working, etc. in another portion of the digital display dash. This car has the adjustable tilt steering wheel with radio controls & pass key security anti-theft with alarm system. Original keys lock and unlock the doors and hatch. It has the original 4 speed automatic transmission and the WS6 performance suspension, four wheel disc brakes, 10 bolt posi-traction rear end. The original gta 16" rims with specific rear rims and specific front rims are installed on the vehicle. All tires hold air, but minimum of two front tires can use replacement. The car has an fourth generation stainless steel muffler and exhaust pipes from a 1997 that bolts to the stock intermediate pipe. This is an original 350 5.7L car as the 8th digit is 8. The block was not originally a 4 bolt main motor on a stock application, but it has a 4 bolt main block installed as it is more durable and desirable, especially in racing applications. The vehicle does not currently run as it needs a camshaft for a Tuned Port Injection motor and the four bolt main motor was out of a truck that did not have a roller rocker cam. I aquired and installed most of the red replacement body parts that are original to the car and this is the reason for the difference in paint color. The car had the wrong hood on it when I bought it from the previous owner from Florida. The body is in good condition with out rust as the vehicle has been stored. The paint has seen better days (from being in the sun in Florida, this is the way I got it) and the car can use a repaint. The interior of the car is in good condition. The seats are not ripped up & the tan interior cloth is remarkably pretty clean for it's color shade. The headliner cloth needs replacement and the passenger side sunvisor is missing. The trunk hatch has the auto pull down motor assembly and the privacy shade. The spare tire is the blow up inflatable style. I have replacement fog lights that are included but not installed. A brand new ACCEL spark plug 8.8 racing wire set is also included! All the windows and glass are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. I have an extra t.p.i. engine control wiring harness that is included with the vehichle additionally. The driver's fender has damage to it. Buy it now for 1200.00 and get it all! Extra center console & additional fenders (buy it now only offer). This project has been sitting around too long and taking up space amoung other things.
