This is an old ISCA show car. It has led the typical show car life one bad owner after the next. I have owned it twice and know very little of its history. I have stacks of receipts and some old owners names including a guy from Tennessee. The car runs and drives good as I just drove home from 30 miles away. It does smoke on startup but really it's sat for years (3 years this time before I got it back) and probably could use a tune up. The muffler and tailpipes need replaced as they leak. 425 v8 turbo 400 trans The carb was rebuilt at one point and works well but does have a sticky throttle. The Trans shifts smooth and the car cruises nice. It is low so if you run over something it will come out the rear looking like hamburger. And tall manwholes make your cheeks pucker. There is a large steel skid plate thats bolted under engine to protect it. The top has what appears to be 4 inches removed and at the time was a beautiful job. The roof would have to be stripped now as there is bubbling and cracking of the filler from being stored out in the elements. The paint is pearl white tri coat There are receipts for the rebuilding of the front CV and suspension The car will drive 70 mph comfortably as I drove it down the interstate home. The interior is repairable but the the headliner will need fixed as well as drivers seat. I have the door panels off as the car had remote entry it appears to be an old Balls hotrod Unit but I cant get it to work. The window works on pass side but not on drivers side. All gauges work. Nt sure about heater although blower motor blows The car has some bubbling around rear wheel wells and as stated earlier the top will have to have the filler redone. Th chrome bumpers are in usuable condition I love the Tornado but I have 10 cars and at this point I'm just overwhelmed and want to sell three of them. This is one of my favorites because of its presence and the Olds just looks bad to the bone. It will be missed!! The odometer says 51 thousand but theres no gaurantee thats correct. I encouarge you to please come and inspect this car before bidding or at the very least have a inspection service do it for you. Shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer, I can store the car at no charge for a reasonable amount of time until your shipper can pick the car up also payment in full must be received and cleared my bank usually 7 days from depositing in bank before the car will be loaded on truck. Payment is due in full within 5 business days of auction end and cash only is accepted if you plan on picking up the car up immediately. Please don't show up and expect to renegotiate the price you agreed to when the auction ended.
