1972 Ford Maverick Sprint This is the only year Ford made the red white and blue Sprint edition! This car was up for auction last week and had a fradulent bid placed. Ebay notified me before I got scammed, but I had to relist the car. My apologies to any serious bidders on the last auction. I bought this car two years ago in West Hampton Beach, NY and trailered it back to Michigan as a project car. Unfortunatly I've been so busy it's sat untouched in my garage ever since. As I don't forsee having time to near future to tackle this project it's time to sell it and get my garage back. It has the original 200-i6. It runs well and goes. I recommend a trailer for transport as the tires are pretty shot. The paint job is not original. (Original color for a sprint was white with blue rockers and red pin stripes) Body has some of the classic ford rust spots (rear quarters are very rusty) but as you can see in the pictures the door sills are really quite good. Floor boards are mostly good too. Interior has the original seats but need a lot of attention. The pictures show most of what I know about the car. The buy-it-now price is what I paid for it but I've set a very low reserve!On Jul-10-11 at 16:43:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I just found out my Buy-It-Now feature disappears once the reserve has been met. As the reserve has been met apparently eBay took away my buy it now feature. The buy-it-now price was $1,700.
