Here we have a very good running 650 savage. I bought the bike about six months ago, and have ridden it many miles. I recently made the ride to rockingham NC to the SMOKEOUT. 6 hours each way, and not one problem. Lets start with the bad - The bike was laid down at about 20mph before i got it, resulting in the clutch lever, hand grip, and foot peg getting some road rash (see picture). it is missing one mirror, but you only have to have one anyway. the bike has been painted, but with poor body work. all around it isn't too bad, but i wanted to repaint it. ( I am more of a flat black kind of person). Heres the good. STRAIGHT PIPE, not too loud, but just right. HEADER WRAP, has small tear from really close cornering. AFTERMARKET SKULL PEGS AFTERMARKET SKULL TAIL LIGHT. AFTERMARKET BULLET REAR SIGNALS. VERTICAL TAG MOUNT/ BRAKE LIGHT ON STRUT. NEARLY NEW RUBBER ON BOTH ENDS. AFTERMARKET SKULL BATTER BOX WITH LIGHTED EYES. TAIL LIGHT AND REAR SIGNALS HAVE BEEN SHADED WITH VHT SPRAY. BIKE IS HARD-TAIL!!! HAS STRUTS ON REAR, AND SHORTENED REAR FENDER!! I am 6'2, 250lbs, and this bike will carry me with ease, dont let size fool you. its very nimble, and pulls very well.
