Vehicle Detail
1931 FORD MODEL A (RHD)COLOR: Hunter green, with black fenders and yellow wheelsMI: Odometer says 50k (from old engine)ENGINE: Recently rebuilt engineMISC: Right handedDETAILS: I've had this beauty for 6yrs. And have invested a lot of TLC in this beauty, she's VERY sturdy driver and enjoyable as I use her in parades around town. I've rebuilt her engine, given her a new transmission, front end, and a $3k paint job. She was bought from a gentleman in CT, whom had it shipped from South America.*She's just sitting now, as she's usually driven in local parades & neighborhood kids love to take a memorable ride in her. She's CLEAN through and through - PLEASE SEE REBUILD PICS BELOW**She is for sale locally & this is on a 1st come 1st. serve basis; and thus reserve the right to end this auction early. Buyer is responsible for pick-up and/or shipping. *** $500/Good faith deposit due after auction closing & ALL funds MUST clear before she's released. On Jul-08-11 at 13:49:27 PDT, seller added the following information: ADDED: This beauty is a ROCK solid driver with a new synchronized transmission that shifts quite smooth - NO DOUBLE CLUTCHING needed. I also have a good amount of records & bills from her restoration. Being that she is a (RHD) right hander, this is really for one with a flair for the unique. The Ford Model A Murray has a gentle curve in the doors, at the top where the windows roll up and stop. The 28-29 cowls look very similar to the 30-31.They don't have the cuved a pillar near the bottom and the gas tank is narrower and more rounded. She's brought my town, family & I many friends and great memories and I'd love to pass her along to someone else to experience a TRUE solid American Classic, as we have.
